1.I did my hair following Dylan Ekren worflow (youtube.com/watch?v=KyH5yGJG45k). But the first thing that I did for the hair was to duplicate my head model, and delete SDiv’s and Layers.
2. DE_HairTubes brush has six types of hairs, and I used MultiThickA, because it has subtypes of strands, and it helps a lot. You choose one of then pressing “M”.
3. Then I tweaked the curve fall of on Curve Modifiers, leaving the thin part on the tip of the hair, and the root part thicker.
4. Then, using Move brush, I adjusted the shape of each hair, giving a more organic feel to them.
5. Using Move Topological, I separeted some sub strands, to look like fly away hairs.
6. Here I separated the hair to a different subtool. subdivided sometimes and started detailing it.
7. With Orb Cracks brush, I have detailed the hair doing some little strands, following the flow of the model, and alternating between Zsub and Zadd.

9. In my first step. I created a mask for the beard area, and extract a new geometry.
10. Smooth the borders of this new geometry.
11. Here I made a 3 steps modeling:
- – create some “V” shapes with ClayBuildup brush, following the direction of the beard strands.
- – “fill” the V shapes to create volume.
- – using Dam Standard. I put some depth to the model.
12. Once the base model was done. I smoothed everyting.
13. Using Orb Cracks brush, I detailed the beard doing the strands, always following the flow direction, and alternating between Zadd and Zsub. Then, using SnakeHook, I pulled out some strands to make a more interesting silhouette.
